JAIMIE’S BRIDGE INC.
JAIMIECHELLA 2022-2024
Jaimie’s Bridge has reached its initial fundraising goal of $600,000 to provide funding for specific Strategic Rochester Prep initiatives. The biggest impact in achieving this goal was the tremendous success of Jaimiechella the last three years. This does not happen without the overwhelming generous financial contributions of family, friends, donors, vendors, and sponsors. Thank You.
When we reflect on September 20, 2020, the day Jaimie Magee Lesnick lost her courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer, we remember Jaimie stating the reason she chose to teach Elementary School Students at Rochester Prep.
"I want to build bridges for students and families to gain access to resources typically not available."
That statement continues to resonate with Zach, the Magee and Lesnick Families, and the Board of Jaimie’s Bridge Inc.
The Jaimie’s Bridge current initiatives are:
Bridge the Financial Gap Scholarships to 20 students annually
New Backpacks filled with School Supplies for K-4 Students annually
New Winter Coats, Gloves, and Hats for K-4 Students annually
Food Pantry Replenished Monthly in partnership with Mercy HS Students
Thanksgiving and Holiday Meal and Gift support
Student opportunity through Oak Hill Country Club Caddie Program
Emergency Fund for Family Crisis, Student Needs, Teacher Resources
Jaimie Magee Lesnick Library for K-4 Students
Going forward we anticipate a different format and location for Jaimiechella. The focus will be on friendship, remembrance, and not fundraising. To continue supporting Jaimie’s Bridge and future initiatives, go to jaimiesbridge.org.
In closing, we humbly say thank you again for your continuous emotional and financial support reaching this milestone.
Please light a candle each September 20th in honor of Jaimie Magee Lesnick and keep her light shining.
